Blog 5- Go Noodle

Go Noodle is the next technology I am going to cover! This one can be found in Dr. Wang's PPT on the informational slide. Go Noodle is a website that provides fun and educational videos for kids. These videos are created to help kids stay active, learn new things, and have fun at the same time! The videos on Go Noodle cover a wide range of topics, from math and science to music and dance, and are suitable for students of all ages. This website is free to use and can even be used to aid in lesson planning or as supplementary materials in your own lesson plans. I think that this website is very easy to use and would be great for all ages. I think this could be not only used for learning but for incorporating brain breaks into the classroom. I could see myself using this tool in my future classroom. We recently discussed the SAMR framework. I think this could easily fit into the substitution category. I think that Go Noodle can be a substitute for Google in a way. When looking for educational and appropriate videos for students, it can take a very long time to watch them all. Instead, you could go to Go Noodle and have a curated selection of educational and appropriate videos to incorporate into your lessons.

  1. Hello Maddi,
Go Noodle seems like a very interesting tool that can be used in the classroom for both students and teachers, one thing I noticed was you lacked a connection to what we've been learning in class like the PICRAT framework or 7-event framework.
